Disclaimer of Warranties
ScrambleText is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the encryption will be unbreakable or that unauthorized parties will never gain access to encrypted messages. Users assume full responsibility for securing their text (encrypted/scrambled and decrypted/unscrambled) and unscramble PINs.
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the developer, affiliates, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use ScrambleText. Users are responsible for determining whether ScrambleText meets their security and privacy needs.
No Guarantee of Regulatory Compliance
ScrambleText does not claim to be compliant with any specific regulatory or industry standards, including but not limited to GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS. Users must independently verify their compliance requirements before using this service for sensitive data transmission.
User Responsibility for Data Security
ScrambleText does not store or recover PINs, input text, or encrypted/scrambled text. Users are responsible for securely managing their text and PINs. If a user forgets their PIN, the encrypted/scrambled message cannot be retrieved. Do not store or transmit encrypted/scrambled text and the unscramble PIN together.
Prohibited Uses
Users may not use ScrambleText for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to fraud, unauthorized access to systems, or the transmission of illegal materials. The developer, affiliates, or partners are not responsible for any misuse of the application.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer, affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, or legal expenses arising from their use of ScrambleText, including but not limited to violations of laws or third-party rights.
No Guarantee of Scrambling or Unscrambling Integrity
We do not guarantee that encrypted/scrambled data will remain accessible, or be error-free. The user assumes full responsibility for verifying message integrity and successful encryption/scrambling and decryption/unscrambling.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
